A field-sales seat, or territory slot, that exists independently of whoever currently occupies it. Visit routes can be assigned to the seat rather than to a person, and the plans generated for it go to whoever holds it - the ExecutivePosition row whose Effective To is still empty. The seat carries its own operating coordinates, so route planning departs from the seat's own base and a handover therefore never moves the territory or its customers; depot resolution falls back from the seat's geography to its branch geography, then the holder's default-branch geography, then the account centroid. Parent Position stores a seat hierarchy that no first-party code acts on yet.
