Campaign Member — entity reference

One account, or one asset together with the account that owns it, enrolled in a campaign. Process Members builds members from the campaign's rules, stamping each run's members with a build tag and removing the members of earlier runs; members added by hand or moved in by Transfer Members carry no tag and are kept. Leads, Opportunities and Asset Maintainance create their records per member and copy the member's account, asset, partner account and branch, and the records link back to the member. A member is named automatically from the SCM numbering series. Members are opened from the Members tab of their campaign; the entity has no list of its own in the shipped navigation.

Fields

FieldLabelTypeRequiredWhat it does
AccountIdAccountLookup → AccountThe customer in the campaign. Process Members fills it with the matching account on account campaigns, and with the asset's owning account on asset campaigns. On a hand-added member it is not derived from the asset, so pick it yourself; leads and opportunities created from the member take their account from here.
AssetIdAssetLookup → AssetThe asset in the campaign, filled on asset campaigns. Execute Campaign and Transfer Members work only with members that have an asset, and asset maintenance created for a member without an asset is never pulled onto a document. The Asset Search console lists the asset's memberships that are not marked Is Utilised, and shows Recall due when one of them is in a campaign whose Type contains Recall.
BatchInstanceIdBatch InstanceTextThe build tag of the Process Members run that created the member. Each run removes the members carrying an older tag. Blank on members added by hand and on members moved in by Transfer Members, which is why rebuilds keep them. Do not edit it: typing a value makes the next rebuild remove the member.
BranchIdBranchLookup → BranchThe location the member belongs to. Process Members copies it from the campaign; a hand-added member gets only what you enter. Copied onto every lead, opportunity and asset maintenance entry created from the member. Not limited to the partner account's branches on the member form.
CreatedByIdCreated ByLookup → UserAccountYes
CreatedDateTimeCreated DateDateAndTimeYes
DueDateDue DateDateA date recorded on the member. No campaign processing fills or reads it; contract and maintenance reminders use the due dates on asset service contracts and maintenance schedules instead.
EmailOptOutEmail Opt OutBooleanYesRecords that the member's customer does not want campaign email. No campaign processing reads it, so an opted-out member still gets a lead or opportunity.
IdIdGuidYes
ItemIdItemLookup → ItemAn item recorded on the member. No campaign processing fills or reads it; campaign items, not this field, decide what is offered.
MessagingOptOutMessaging Opt OutBooleanYesRecords that the member's customer does not want campaign messages. No campaign processing reads it, so an opted-out member still gets a lead or opportunity.
ModifiedByIdModified ByLookup → UserAccountYes
NameNameTextYesThe member's name, filled automatically from the shipped Service Campaign member numbering series (series SCM, a date part and a running number) when the member is saved. Required.
OwnerIdOwnerLookup → UserAccountYes
PartnerAccountIdAccountLookup → AccountThe dealer the member belongs to. Process Members copies it from the campaign; a hand-added member gets only what you enter. Copied onto every lead, opportunity and asset maintenance entry created from the member.
RecordTypeIdRecord TypeGuid, hidden
CampaignIdCampaignLookup → CampaignThe campaign the member belongs to. Set from the campaign when the member is created on the campaign's Members tab, and changed only by Transfer Members, which moves the member to the target campaign.
